Terms & Conditions
a) “CSB Mobile+” refers to the brand name of the mobile banking application facilitated by CSB Bank Limited.
b) “CSB” refers to CSB Bank Limited.
c) “App/ Application” refers to a software application, as downloaded by a user to a mobile device.
d) "Bank” means CSB Bank Limited., a Banking Company having its registered office at “CSB Bhavan”, Post Box. No. 502, St. Mary’s College Road, Thrissur – 680 020, Kerala, India including any branch office, thereof.
e) “Mobile Banking” is a service provided by the bank that allows its customers to conduct financial/non-financial transactions remotely using a mobile device viz. smartphone/tablet.
f) "Terms and Conditions" refers to the terms and conditions for use of Mobile Banking as detailed in this document and the product
T & Cs .
g) "User" refers to the customer of the Bank authorized to use Mobile Banking Services by the bank, on the request of the customer.
h) “Campaign” is the “Digital Campaign” program
i) Any account channel activation via CSB Mobile Banking App before or after campaign will not be eligible for campaign
j) “CASA” Current Account and Savings Account
k) “Gift Voucher (GV)” is an Amazon Shopping Voucher given to the User on fulfilling the campaign conditions. CSB Bank neither endorses Amazon nor its affiliates. The voucher is provided solely for customer convenience due to its wide acceptance.
l) “Condition” is the set of criteria put forth for being eligible for participating in the campaign and further earning the Gift Voucher (GV).
m) Active CA/SA but Inactive on Mobile Banking App is defined as an Active CA/SA account which has not logged into CSB Mobile+ App or Retail Net Banking in last six months
i) The bank is unable to receive or execute any of the requests from the customer or there is loss of information during processing or transmission or any unauthorized access by any other person or breach of confidentiality due to reasons beyond the control of the bank
ii) There is any kind of loss, direct or indirect, incurred by the customer or any other person due to any failure or lapse in the facility which are beyond the control of the bank.
iii) There is any failure or delay in transmitting of information or there is any error or inaccuracy of information or any other consequence arising from any cause beyond the control of the bank which may include technology failure, mechanical breakdown, power disruption, etc.
iv) There is any lapse or failure on the part of the service providers or any third party affecting the said facility and that the bank makes no warranty as to the quality of the service provided by any such service provider. The bank, its employees, agent or contractors, shall not be liable for and in respect of any loss or damage whether direct, indirect or consequential, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, business, contracts, anticipated savings or goodwill, loss of use or value of any equipment including software, whether foreseeable or not, suffered by the customer or any person howsoever arising from or relating to any delay, interruption, suspension, resolution or error of the bank in receiving and processing the request and in formulating and returning responses or any failure, delay, interruption, suspension, restriction, or error in transmission of any information or message to and from the telecommunication equipment of the customer and the network of any service provider and the bank's system or any breakdown, interruption, suspension or failure of the telecommunication equipment of the customer, the bank's system or the network of any service provider and/or any third party who provides such services as is necessary to provide the facility.
v) The Bank will not be responsible if bank’s mobile banking application is not compatible with/ does not work on the mobile handset of the customer.
